Fermentation tanks or fermentation vessels for distilleries come in a variety of shapes, sizes and materials. Some are basic vessels while others are more complex to allow for the chilling or heating of the mash. Fermentation tanks often contain agitators that will help with separation of the grain and the liquid as it leaves the tank for distillation.
