Exclusive Brewer & Distiller Products
Barrel Innerstave is for use in a neutral oak barrel. It is a system of barrel-length oak staves containing 18.16 sq. ft. of surface area. The staves are held in place in a radial design by lining the barrel with polyethylene rods. The system is installed by our cooperage team through the opened head of a neutral barrel. The absence of staves at the bunghole and the bottom lees pool leaves racking and stirring uninhibited. The system can be cleaned with regular barrel cleaning procedures.
Barrel Innerstave is designed to impart oak flavor at the same rate as new premium oak barrels. The system works within the framework of a comprehensive barrel program to augment total premium oak flavor profiles, while moderating the higher cost of purchasing all new barrels. Learn more.
Fan Innerstave is for use in a neutral oak barrel. Each Fan Innerstave set contains 20 square feet of premium oak wood, replicating 100% of the surface area of a 225L barrel and providing similar extraction as a new premium oak barrel. The set is designed for easy attachment in tanks that contain fan system hardware.
Fan Innerstave gives brewers and distillers the opportunity to obtain premium oak barrel character in larger vessels. Fan Innerstave provides significant cost saving over traditional premium oak barrels, yet achieves the same result.
Oak Cubes are intended for the brewer or distiller who desires premium barrel flavors in their stainless steel tanks. The 15 lb. mesh bag of oak cubes contains approximately 68.10 square feet of surface area. It can be placed in the tank and allowed to float freely or tied down.
Oak cubes can also be inserted into used barrels to replenish oak flavors by using an oak infusion tube.
is a self-installed “through the bunghole” oak flavor profile delivery system designed by Innerstave to benefit those brewers and distillers who do not require 100% new barrel oak flavor. This system is brewer/distiller installed and versatile. Brewers and distillers can vary the number of oak links in the chain to obtain the desired oak impact. Each chain imparts one-third the amount of oak flavor of a new barrel oak.
OakPLUS Chips are recommended during fermentation, post fermentation, and for pre-bottle enhancement. OakPLUS will minimize undesirable vegetal characters, provide co-pigmentation to bind color, and give body and mouthfeel. OakPLUS added during aging offers body and true premium barrel flavors. A small amount added just prior to bottling will lift the flavor to refresh the finished oak character and leave a lingering toasty quality.
Stave Vault is a stainless steel structure designed to fit inside smaller tanks and vessels to impart new oak flavor profiles. It can give beer or spirits up to 4 times new barrel impact to allow flexibility in new oak addition rates. Brewers and distillers can choose from French or American oak staves available in all toast levels to create custom flavor profiles.
Stave Vault can be used in any stage of brewing or distilling and provides up to 80 square feet of oak surface when fully loaded. Stave Vault is easily inserted and removed with a forklift. The flavor profile possibilities are endless with Stave Vault.
