This Evenings Tale from the Trail takes us on a journey to Bardstown, Kentucky. This small town located near the center of the country goes by many names. It’s been called “The Most Beautiful Small Town in America” by USA Today, and history buffs may know it as the “Home of Three Governors” but for spirits fans it’s best known as “The Bourbon Capital of the World”.
While visiting a few distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail this time of year visitors get treated to the sights and sounds of Christmas all around town. There are events scheduled throughout the month with special meals, special cocktails, special bottles of bourbon and special evenings with the big man himself Santa Clause.
Here’s are just a few photos from a recent visit to this beautiful small town. It’s likely even more lovely this evening as the snow is gently falling covering all those bourbon rickhouses on this Christmas eve.
We hope that all your whiskey wishes come true.
Cheers and Merry Christmas!
