Arlington National Cemetery - Here Rests in Honored Glory an American Soldier Known But to God

This Veterans Day weekend while visiting the George Washington Distillery and Gristmill at Mount Vernon we had an opportunity to visit Arlington National Cemetery. While there we had the honor of witnessing the wreath layings where some families got to celebrate the life of their loved ones – a life that they gave for their country.

The celebration takes place at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier overlooking the Potomac River and Washington, D.C. Though it is a solemn ceremony it is a time for celebration for the brave hero’s that chose to protect and serve our country.
