DIY Hot Chocolate Booze Bar COver

I love having some kind of themed bar for parties or events. Sometimes the theme is shown through the food and other times it is shown through a signature drink or some type of bar. This DIY hot chocolate bar is awesome for adults and kids (less the booze of course.) It is also an easy way to entertain guests at a brunch or after dinner. Everything can be purchased and thrown together at the last minute. It is so simple and with minimal effort you will look like a star – a shining Christmas star.

Supplies

Hot Chocolate Mixes: To save time hot chocolate mixes are a really big time saver and much needed short cut while entertaining. I used a dark sipping chocolate and a white-hot chocolate. Be creative, there are many different flavors available even at the local grocery store. If you are really feeling adventurous, you can make your own hot chocolate.

Water or Milk: I used a kettle to boil hot water for my bar. It was easy to keep refilling the hot water and making more hot water. Milk is also an option but you have to be careful not to burn it.

Spirits: I used vodka and bourbon. I poured the spirits into fun glass bottles and labeled them with cute labels. Feel free to use any spirit that you have at home.

Garnishes: I love the garnishes for hot chocolate. These are the ones I used: Different and creative marshmallows (I found some snowflake shaped marshmallows) Whip Cream Holiday Sprinkles Glasses: I used some vintage coffee glasses that my grandfather used in his candy store. I think that Irish coffee glasses would also be a great choice. Regular coffee cups can be used as well and if you are looking to give your guest a small party favor maybe you could get some cheap holiday mugs and let everyone take them home.

Table Décor: I used a red polka dot tablecloth. I got the fabric from a fabric store and it was much cheaper than buying a seasonal/holiday tablecloth.
