“They’re at the post…”
Unlike Kentucky’s signature bourbon that takes years to age in new charred white Oak barrels, tickets to the Kentucky Distillers’ Associations annual Kentucky Bourbon Affair™ sell out fast. Not quite as fast as the Thoroughbred horses at state’s other signature event, the Kentucky Derby, but fast nonetheless. What took six hours to sell out in 2015 took only 15 minutes in 2016. Will 2017 set a new record?
VIP All-Access Golden Tickets
“A Golden Ticket gets you into the elite club of like-minded Bourbon lovers with early access to events and unsurpassed service from our Bourbon Affair concierge team,” said Eric Gregory, President of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association.
Events include exclusive experiences at the world’s most iconic distilleries, nightcap events featuring top chefs and the company of Bourbon Barons and Master Distillers, rare tastings and souvenir bottles and early registration for private barrel selections.
Seventeen Kentucky Bourbon brands are hosting events this year in addition to the VIP opening reception and the closing brunch hosted by the Bourbon Women association. For the second year in a row, WhiskyLive, an international celebration of the world’s finest whiskies, will conclude the event on Saturday night.
New for 2017 is an all-day educational track on Saturday, featuring deep dives into Bourbon craft and culture, with top industry professionals offering rare tastings and experiences.
