How do you like your bourbon? Neat, on the rocks, spirituous or refreshing? The Bourbon & Beyond festival offered lots of choices; choices in bourbon, music and food.
This inaugural Bourbon and Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky is a festival like no other. The festival offered top notch bourbon from multiple distilleries, top notch food from multiple chefs and top notch music from multiple musicians. It’s really the first large scale festival where distilled spirits got equal billing on the marquee with classic music acts like Eddie Vedder, The Steve Miller Band and Stevie Nicks.
The Big Bourbon Bar was a 20,000 square foot tent featuring 24 bourbon partners each offering a variety of cocktails. We hope you got to experience the event in person but in case you missed it, you can still be a part of it with these exclusive cocktail recipes. Each distillery offered at least two cocktails, one spirituous and another refreshing. Whatever your choice, here’s a plethora of cocktail choices that were offered under the Big Bourbon Bar tent.
Just like the festival was held over two days because is was so big, we’ve broken the cocktail recipes into two simply because there are so many. The order of the 48 cocktail recipes is simply the order they fell into under the tent.
