Lux Row Distillers Introduces Old Ezra 117 Proof Barrel Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky has announced the release of its new Old Ezra Barrel Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Aged a full seven years for a more robust flavor, this bourbon is bottled at barrel strength of 117 proof.
The Old Ezra Barrel Strength premium features a custom bottle showcasing two unique embossments. For the first time, the bottle features the Lux Row Distillers name. Luxco, with headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, recently celebrated the opening of the Lux Row Distillery in April 2018. The bottle also features an Ezra Brooks “EB” monogram on the base of the bottle. The die-cut label with gold and copper foil embossing allows Old Ezra to stand out on the shelf. In addition, the bottle is topped off with a natural cork with wooden top.

The company says, Old Ezra is aged seven years to allow the bourbon to develop bold, intense flavors with the perfect balance of oak, caramel, cinnamon and pepper, with a long, warm finish and then barreled at cask strength. “Whiskey continues to experience strong growth…Old Ezra has been well-received with premium bourbon drinkers who enjoy a more full-bodied flavor and higher proof,” says Fletcher Buchman, brand manager.
Old Ezra Barrel Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at 117° Proof (58.5% ABV) and has a suggested retail price of $39.99 for a 750ml bottle. It is expected to be available nationwide this fall.
