Everybody loves to give and receive distilled spirits holiday gift packs. A lot of distilleries put together special holiday gift packs. Sometimes it’s a seasonal blend of a gin and sometimes it’s a special bundle that offers a free highball or shot glass. They make for great end-cap displays when visiting your local package good store.
Metal Cup with Sharp Lip
Brown-Forman Corporation, parent company to Jack Daniel has identified an issue involving a small number of stainless steel cups included in a recent Gentleman Jack holiday gift pack. The gift pack has a metal cup with a lip or rim that may be sharp and, out of an abundance of caution, we are requesting that the cup be disposed of for a replacement gift.
Good News – The Jack is Fine
The impacted Gentleman Jack holiday gift packs include complimentary cups which became available to retail beginning in September 2018 in the 1.75ml and 750ml sizes. The bottle of Gentleman Jack Tennessee Whiskey contained in the gift pack is not impacted by the metal cup defect in any way and may be enjoyed.
