As Mother’s day rolls around, I am happy to share a fun cocktail. This is a spin on the classic French 75 one of my all time favorite cocktails. I used Rosa Regale Sparkling Red from Banfi and the flavor is rose and raspberries. This is a perfect flavor combination for Mother’s Day brunch especially if you are serving french toast or pancakes. I added a hint of rose water, lemon juice, and gin to make this easy and tasty cocktail for your mom.
If she doesn’t love gin you could always substitute vodka. Let’s celebrate mom with French Toast and a French 75!
Recipe: Rosy French 75
- 1 ounce of gin
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 3-4 ounces of Rosa Regale Sparkling Red
- 1/2 cup of ice
- 1 dash of rosewater
Garnish: Lemon slice and Dried roses
- Add gin, lemon juice, rosewater, and ice to cocktail shaker
- Shake mixture then strain into champagne flute
- Top with Rosa Regale Sparkling Red
